This temple is dedicated to Lord Someshwara. and it is a fine example for the Vijayanagar style of architecture. it has a Massive pillared Mukhamantapa and a lofty gopura and also contains a shrine dedicated to parvathi devi in its complex. this temple is in the heart of the kolar town. which is worth seeing.

This is a temple dedicated to lord Ranganatha which is built in vijayanagar style.and this temple has an attractive idol of lord ranganatha, and there is some interesting architecture inside the temple pillars in vijaynagar style.the temple is now being renovated.you can find rangasthala which is situated at a distance of 3kms from chickballapur town.

This is a huge temple complex has more than six temples and the main four among those are the Ramalingeshwara,Laxmanalingeshwara,Bharathalingeshwara and Shatrugnalingeshwara. this is a historical and as well as a archeolgical site where the history tells that the Lord rama and his brothers have installed four shivlingas here while finishing their vanavasa. these temples look very nice and the structures are carved nicely. and it has a huge compound,entrance and also a kalyani.annual carnival festival is celebrated in a grand scale. the sitha devi temple is located on the top of the huge hill sarrounded by rocks.and a temple dedicated to sharada devi is also found here. you can reach avani from mulbagal on bethamangala route.it is approximately 10kms from mulbagal.

this is a temple built by vijaya nagar king krishnadevaraya. but long before that the main idol of Lord ganesh made up of the rare Saligrama stone which was installed by the great trimurthi's bramha,vishnu,shiva. this is one of the popular temples in kolar district which is oftenly visited by the people from bangalore and near by places.this temple will be opened throughout the year.

this temple is dedicated to shiva built in Chola period, has a big rajagopura and also complex. this has its links with pre-historic times with markanda purana.and this temple is situated on a hill at the outskirts of vokkaleri village. and it has a nice road to the top of the hill and the hill is sarrounded by beautiful scenary.you can visit to vokkaleri on Kolar-Malur route.
Swayambuveshwara temple,madiwala near K.G.F
this temple dedicated to lord shiva, which was built in Chola period and this temple is located in the village madiwala near kyasamballi. you can visit this temple on K.G.F to Shantipuram route. this temple will not be opened always you have to enquire with localites to know about the timings of the temple.
sri Amaranareyana temple,kaiwara
this temple is dedicated to lord narayana. Kaiwara has a historical importance dating back to Mahabharatha times. and also it is popular for the saint yogi narayanappa also called as kaiwara thathayya who lived and meditated here and then became very popular with his future predictions and with his book kalagnana.you can now find his brindavanam inside the temple.

this is a very old temple with a very huge complex sarrounding it dedicated to lord shiva. this has a big rajagopura,kalyani and a temple dedicated to parvati. here you can find a fine image of shiva linga called as athma linga. this temple will be opened regularly on sunday and monday. you can find a big arch indicating the temple on NH-4 near to mulbagal.

this is a very old temple dedicated to lord venkateshwara and you can find a beautiful image of venkatarama here. and this temple is renovated recently and has a big raja gopura, and this pillars inside the temple are nicely carved. you can visit this temple enroute to kaiwara from chintamani. alambagiri is just 3kms away from the main road.
